'Giant George' and owner Dave Nasser share a couch together: The four-year-old blue great Dane, weighs a staggering 245lbs and measures almost 43ins at the shoulder The gentle giant, who measures 7ft 3ins from nose to tail, could be a prime contender to take the title from the former record holder, Gibson, a harlequin Great Dane who passed away from cancer last August. Now George's owners, David and Christine Nasser, are awaiting confirmation from Guinness World Records to see if he has achieved the lofty heights. 'He's 42.625 inches at the shoulder,' said David. 'He's very very unique.' According to David, George consumes 110lbs of food every month, and sleeps alone in his own Queen Size Bed. David and Christine raised George from when he was 7 weeks old, but never expected him to grow so big.

This is a true story of a Garage Owner in the Southwest. (New Mexico) He was sick and tired of thugs breaking into his garage shop to steal tools etc. So he came up with this idea. He put the word out that he had a new Mexican Lion that would attack anyone that would break in or climb his fence. Would be thieves saw the "Lion" from a distance and fled the scene.

Cat Sitting Gig

This weekend I was busy cat sitting some small kittens that will soon be shipped out to Bakersfield to the Lozano's house. I was having some trouble getting them to sleep so I put them in Norma's shoes and wha-la! The shoes did the trick. The white one reminds me of my sister Pinky and the grey one reminds me of Gigi when she was small. I don't know why, but cats just love me.

As you may know, Kiki was not doing so well. We found that she had a reptured disc and she had to have surgery. This morning she had surgery done and KIKI pulled thru the surgery like a champ. She is doing well. Kiki will be in therapy tommorow and will go home as soon as she gets strong enough to go home. Her family will be visiting her tonight. Kiki misses home, but knows she is getting the care she needs.

Nov. 20 (Bloomberg) -- Suspended quarterback Michael Vick turned himself in to a U.S. Marshals Service office yesterday to begin serving a sentence stemming from his part in a dogfighting ring, according to court records. Vick, who's due to be sentenced Dec. 10, pleaded guilty in August to a federal conspiracy charge related to dogfighting and was suspended indefinitely from the National Football League. Three co-defendants also pleaded guilty. They each face a maximum sentence of five years in prison.
Kiki: Hopefully he will learn his lesson.

MISSING MOM

Mom is our home's most frequent traveler. She left last Thursday and since then nothing has been the same. Today I missed her the most because she lets me sleep in late and as long as I want. Norma kicked me out of my warm bed and it was a little chilly out. I also miss Mom because I don't feel alone. She is usually at home and I can hang out with her. She is a busy body. For months now she has been trying to motivate me to dig, but I just wont do it. I can see my nails now. Full of dirt and mud then I wont be let in the house. Mom does enough gardening for the both of us. AnyWHO, this morning sucked. I now get it. I never knew why everyone hates going to work. It's hard work getting out of bed early. Mom..... please come home soon. I'm missing my beauty sleep.

FOUND LOST DOG

Just the other morning 09/28/07 before I left for Vegas.... My family and I found a lost Dog wandering the street. I decided to stay home and take care of the lost dog in hopes that it's owners came around looking for her. She is still staying at our house. Letty gave her a hair cut and Mom took her a bath. She appears to be a very old dog. She has no more spunk left, but she is very friendly dog. We will take her to the Pound pretty soon and if no one looks for her Mom said she might adopt her. Mom is afraid that no one will look for her and the the pound will get rid of Lucky. That is what we are calling her for now. I've posted her picture on alot of websites that help owners look for thier dogs. Cross your fingers that Lucky finds her home.

6. Wastebasket: A dog toy filled with paper, envelopes and old candy wrappers. When you get bored, turn over the basket and strew the papers all over the house. This is particularly fun to do when there are guests for dinner and you prance around with the contents of that very special bathroom wastepaper basket!
7. Sofas: Are to dogs like napkins are to people. After eating it is polite to run up and down the front of the sofa and wipe your whiskers clean. If there are people sitting on the couch just include them as a handy wipe.
8. Bath: A process owners use to clean you, drench the floor, walls and themselves. You can help by shaking vigorously and frequently.
9. Lean: Every good dog's response to the command "sit," especially if your owner is dressed for an evening out. Incredibly effective before black-tie events.
10. Love: A feeling of intense affection, given freely and without restriction, shared by you and your owner. Show it by wagging your tail

I was out looking for a job. It's tough out there. This is how my first interview went. A local business was looking for office help. They put a sign in the window, stating the following: "HELP WANTED. Must be able to type, must be good with a computer and must be bilingual. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer." A short time afterwards, I trotted up to the window, saw the sign and went inside. I looked at the receptionist and wagged my tail, then walked over to the sign, looked at it and whined. Getting the idea, the receptionist got the office manager. The office manager looked at me and was surprised, to say the least. However, I looked determined, so he lead me into the office. Inside, I jumped up on the chair and stared at the manager. The manager said, "Kiki, I can't hire you. The sign says you have to be able to type."I jumped down, went to the typewriter and proceeded to type out a perfect letter. I took out the page and trotted over to the manager and gave it to him, then jumped back on the chair. The manager was stunned, but then told me, "Kiki, the sign says you have to be good with a computer." I jumped down again and went to the computer. I proceeded to demonstrate my expertise with various programs and produced a sample spreadsheet and database and presented them to the manager. By this time the manager was totally dumb-founded! He looked at me and said, "Kiki, I realize that you are a very intelligent dog and have some interesting abilities. However, I *still* can't give you the job." I jumped down and went to a copy of the sign and put my paw on the sentences that told about being an Equal Opportunity Employer. The manager said, "Yes, but the sign *also* says that you have to be bilingual." So I looked at him straight in the face and said, "Meow."

How did you beat the heat this weekend? This heat was out of control. I had to get an oil treatment for my skin and I got a hair cut so when it grows out my hair will be soft and luxurious. For now, I am sporting a buzz cut or the summer look. That is how I am trying to beat this heat. Mom thinks I'm going to get rabies like Cujo becuase it's so hot. Cujo is COOL!! So everytime she looks my way I drink lots of water. On Saturday, some of my pets took of to the beach and of course left me at home to take care of the house. Then just yesterday they went to the pool to cool off and left me behind. That is okay, I got to spend quality time with Gigi and Pinky. They are the coolest. I will post pictures of my buzz cut later this week. Hope you all had a great labor day!

IT'S ME KIKI

Hi Everyone,
For those who do not know me, my name is KIKI. I am the middle pet in my family. Many middle pets are often forgotten becuase the older pet is the most loved or the younger pet is the cutest. In my case, I get the most love. It's great to be the middle pet. I get dog and cat treats. I get the biggest hugs becuase I'm so cute. My family is always happy and excited to see me. I know that they miss me all day. The cats are a little jealous of my status but they think they are too cool. Pinky is the older pet and she is a cat. She is white with blue eyes and she thinks her you know what does not smell. Gigi is the baby. She is grey with Green eyes. She is very nice and lovable and my best friend. Gigi likes to sleep out in the wilderness. She is a rebel. I prefer my comfy pillow bed inside the house. I have to admit, I am a little scared of the dark.
