Giant Dog

'Giant George' and owner Dave Nasser share a couch together: The four-year-old blue great Dane, weighs a staggering 245lbs and measures almost 43ins at the shoulder The gentle giant, who measures 7ft 3ins from nose to tail, could be a prime contender to take the title from the former record holder, Gibson, a harlequin Great Dane who passed away from cancer last August. Now George's owners, David and Christine Nasser, are awaiting confirmation from Guinness World Records to see if he has achieved the lofty heights. 'He's 42.625 inches at the shoulder,' said David. 'He's very very unique.' According to David, George consumes 110lbs of food every month, and sleeps alone in his own Queen Size Bed. David and Christine raised George from when he was 7 weeks old, but never expected him to grow so big.

Talking Dog For Sale !!

A guy is driving around the back woods of Montana and he sees a sign in front of a broken down shanty-style house: 'Talking Dog For Sale ' He rings the bell and the owner appears and tells him the dog is in the backyard. The guy goes into the backyard and sees a nice looking Labrador retriever sitting there.
'You talk?' he asks. 'Yep,' the Lab replies.
After the guy recovers from the shock of hearing a dog talk, he says 'So, what's your story?'
The Lab looks up and says, 'Well, I discovered that I could talk when I was pretty young. I wanted to help the government, so I told the CIA. In no time at all they had me jetting from country to country, sitting in rooms with spies and world leaders, because no one figured a dog would be eavesdropping.''I was one of their most valuable spies for eight years running. But the jetting around really tired me out, and I knew I wasn't getting any younger so I decided to settle down.
I signed up for a job at the airport to do some undercover security, wandering near suspicious characters and listening in. I uncovered some incredible dealings and was awarded a batch of medals.' 'I got married, had a mess of puppies, and now I'm just retired.'
The guy is amazed. He goes back in and asks the owner what he wants for the dog.
'Ten dollars,' the guy says.
'Ten dollars? This dog is amazing! Why on earth are you selling him so cheap?'
'Because he's a liar. He never did any of that shit.

Mexican Lion

This is a true story of a Garage Owner in the Southwest. (New Mexico) He was sick and tired of thugs breaking into his garage shop to steal tools etc. So he came up with this idea. He put the word out that he had a new Mexican Lion that would attack anyone that would break in or climb his fence. Would be thieves saw the "Lion" from a distance and fled the scene.

Joke of the Day

From the diary of a Pre-School Teacher:
My five-year old students are learning to read.
Yesterday one of them pointed at a picture in a zoo book and said,
"Look at this! It's a frickin' elephant!"
I took a deep breath, then asked...."What did you call it?"
"It's a frickin' elephant!
It says so on the picture!" And so it does...

" A f r i c a n Elephant "
Hooked on phonics! Ain't it wonderful?

Button the Dalmatian

Button popped out 18 puppies at once. Button now holds the record in the UK for the largest litter. From what googling told me, the world's record for the most puppies ever is around 24. Come on, Button! Get to work.

Cat Sitting Gig

This weekend I was busy cat sitting some small kittens that will soon be shipped out to Bakersfield to the Lozano's house. I was having some trouble getting them to sleep so I put them in Norma's shoes and wha-la! The shoes did the trick. The white one reminds me of my sister Pinky and the grey one reminds me of Gigi when she was small. I don't know why, but cats just love me.

All Dogs go to heaven

It is one of the hardest things to deal with. The loss of your best friend. DONNY'S best bud BRUSKIE A BOXER past away. We know you will miss him alot, please take comfort in knowing that "ALL DOGS DO GO TO HEAVEN".

Your Pets In Heaven
To have loved and then said farewell, is better than to have never loved at all. For all of the times that you have stooped and touched my head, fed me my favorite treat and returned the love that I so unconditionally gave to you. For the care that you gave to me so unselfishly. For all of these things I am grateful and thankful.
I ask that you not grieve for the loss, but rejoice in the fact that we lived, loved and touched each others lives. My life was fuller because you were there, not as a master/owner, but as my FRIEND.
Today I am as I was in my youth. The grass is always green, butterflies flit among the flowers and the Sun shines gently down upon all of God's creatures. I can run, jump, play and do all of the things that I did in my youth. There is no sickness, no aching joints and no regrets and no aging.
We await the arrival of our lifelong companions and know that togetherness is forever. You live in our hearts as we do in yours. Companions such as you are so rare and unique. Don't hold the love that you have within yourself. Give it to another like me and then I will live forever. For love never really dies, and you are loved and missed as surely as we are.
Your Pets In Heaven

A Little Dog Angel
High up in the courts of heaven todaya little dog angel waits;with the other angels he will not play, but he sits alone at the gates."For I know my master will come" says he,"and when he comes he will call for me."The other angels pass him byAs they hurry toward the throne,And he watches them with a wistful eyeas he sits at the gates alone."But I know if I just wait patientlythat someday my master will call for me."And his master, down on earth below,as he sits in his easy chair, forgets sometimes, and whispers lowto the dog who is not there. And the little dog angel cocks his earsand dreams that his master's voice he hears. And when at last his master waitsoutside in the dark and cold, for the hand of death to open the door, that leads to those courts of gold,he will hear a sound through the gathering dark,a little dog angel's bark.

As you may know, Kiki was not doing so well. We found that she had a reptured disc and she had to have surgery. This morning she had surgery done and KIKI pulled thru the surgery like a champ. She is doing well. Kiki will be in therapy tommorow and will go home as soon as she gets strong enough to go home. Her family will be visiting her tonight. Kiki misses home, but knows she is getting the care she needs.
